With this new feature we are introducing the most elegant way to dive into a conversation on Twitter.
Conversations between people on Twitter, displayed in an easy to follow layout is a good thing. Whats great, is being able to join the party right from that very interface! Conweets is taking user engagement to a higher level with the release of this new feature. We’ve taken into consideration every bit of feedback from our users and the most important feature request seemed to be a way to participate in an ongoing conversation.
Join the conversation from within the threaded view!
Here’s how it works :-
While viewing a conversation, hovering over any tweet will let you access the option to reply to that tweet. After posting the tweet, it becomes visible as part of the conversation at the exact position in the thread. Its that simple!
What problem does it solve?
Participating in on going conversations, debates and discussions has never been easier. Coupled with searching for topic based conversations, users can now put themselves right in the middle of the action. Sometimes, joining a conversation can be all about understanding the context and the meaning of whats being said. Since this feature is integrated into the simple yet elegant threaded conversation view, it makes it much easier to figure out whats being said in the conversation, especially since the entire page contains all the tracked conversations between the two participants.
Two things must be kept in mind while replying to tweets using Conweets:
- This one’s pretty obvious. Users must be logged in to be able to post a tweet. Although conversations can be viewed without logging in, replying to tweet requires an authenticated user logged into Twitter through Conweets.
- Reply’s made by a user to his/her own conversation will show up instantly even after a page refresh. But, when replying to two other peoples conversation, after refreshing the page, the replied tweet might not show up. This is because unless the original participants of the conversations don’t reply to your tweet, our system will not count it as a part of the conversation.
